Portrait of Riaz Shah OBE

Riaz Shah OBE helps leaders read what is coming next and act on it boldly. A former Senior Partner at EY, now a consultant and Hult Professor of Practice, he is a keynote voice trusted on stages from New York to London and Hong Kong.

His talks turn rigorous research into vivid, memorable ideas through analogy and real case studies, with enough wit and energy to keep a room engaged. He speaks on emerging global trends, innovation, leadership in a changing world, the future of work and leading across generations.

Beyond the stage, Riaz advises the President of Indonesia and his cabinet on national transformation, and founded One Degree Academy, an award-winning free school in London born from a promise to a dying friend. He donates all net speaking fees to charity.

Questions organisers ask

The things event teams most often want to know.

What does Riaz speak about?
A range of themes around change and the future. Among the most requested: emerging global trends and megatrends, innovation and creativity, leadership in a changing world, leading in uncertain times, the future of work, growth mindset, and leading across generations. Every talk is researched and tailored to the audience, blending hard data with vivid storytelling so the ideas land and stick.
Does Riaz speak internationally?
Yes. Riaz has spoken in over 50 cities across the world, from New York to London to Hong Kong, and tailors every session to the location and culture of the room.
How tailored is each session?
Fully. Every session is built around your industry, your audience and your goals, using the data and case studies your people will recognise. Relevance is the whole point.
What about fees?
Fees vary by format, audience and location, and will be discussed on a discovery call. All net fees are donated to UK registered charities, including One Degree Academy, the award-winning free school in London that Riaz founded.
Is there a speaker pack?
Yes. You can download the speaker pack at the top of this page, useful for sharing with colleagues or a booking committee.
How do we book Riaz?
Use the enquiry form, or email contact@riazshah.com with your date, audience and what you want the session to achieve, and the team will get back to you quickly.
Does Riaz offer a discovery call?
Always. Riaz insists on a discovery call before any booking is confirmed, so he can understand your audience and goals and make sure he is the right fit. If another speaker would serve you better, he will say so and point you their way.
Our event is only a few weeks away. Is it too late?
Not necessarily. Dates permitting, Riaz will do everything he can to make a late booking work, and if he genuinely can't, he'll try to recommend someone who can. It's always worth asking.
